Surviving Cancer
Will never imagined when he had his appendix removed that the surgeon would call him several days later: "The bad news is your appendix had cancer in it, but the good news is we think we got it all."
One phone call changed the trajectory of Will's life, his perspective. Having a life and death experience reminded Will of his childhood friend Jane Harrell who died of brain cancer. Motivated to bring meaning and purpose into his day-to-day life, the idea of supporting kids in our community who are either dying of cancer or attending a high-poverty school has become one of Will's goals.
Watch Will's video to hear his story and his plan to run for Jane's Fund on November 15th. Will is running to raise $50,000 but is also on a mission to rally others to lift up children in our community who most need LOVE, support, and encouragement.
Nobody understands why bad, hard things happen to the best people, but one thing Jane's Fund knows for sure is HOPE always breaks into dark chaos. Will's journey and his life are a living example of multiple miracles to celebrate today, on Monday
Thank you, Will for your leadership and for reminding us that when life points to the end, nothing else matters but LOVE.
