For one set of first-time parents, that picture changed moments after first holding their daughter Gia in the delivery room: "Call the NICU team, prepare to ventilate, bring the ultrasound machine," followed by a fury of hospital staff and complicated medical language impossible to comprehend.
 
A rare and aggressive brain tumor diagnosis with impossible decisions to make, no right or wrong answers, becomes an instant reality. 

Gia's home will be the hospital.

Chemotherapy will add more time, more moments, more memories. Days become nights and nights become days. 

The reality of a world outside of the hospital with bills and responsibilities seems foreign, impossible, and meaningless.

Gia, their first-born, becomes everything.

A social worker steps in to give hope. Jane's Fund will provide financial assistance so Gia can be held, rocked, and loved until she takes her last breath...
