When Time is Short, Love Grows Loud

Despite four treatment centers in four years, a left leg amputation above the knee, and more chemotherapy and radiation sessions than one can count, 16-year-old Lillie refuses to focus on her Ewing's sarcoma (bone tumor) diagnosis. Instead, she finds joy in the simple, ordinary moments of life that the world often takes for granted.

Despite the cancer’s return and no treatment options left for a cure, Lillie and her dad are on a mission to grow more vegetables and flowers in their garden than ever before. Year after year, day after day, Lillie keeps choosing life, especially this year, knowing this could be her last garden.

Seeds have been planted with more to come, and Lillie is heroically finding the strength to check for growth and cheer on her dad, believing this garden will produce more vegetables and flowers than any other.

Please help Jane's Fund cover a month of mortgage and a new garden bed so Lillie and her family can spend quality time at home, sharing ordinary moments together, and lifting the financial burden that cancer creates.

A month of mortgage: $2,950

Materials and installation of a raised flower bed: $250
