CAMP

Consider a gift that represents the independence and adventure of a camp experience for those who may not otherwise have the opportunity.

  • Camp Thunderbird First Timers

Middle schoolers, apprehensive about leaving their family, neighborhood, and school campus for the first time, travel by bus with teachers to Camp Thunderbird to study and experience SCIENCE in the great outdoors. Brave students challenging themselves for a day trip find wonder and awe in the great outdoors, paving the way for younger kids to participate in overnight camp the following year.

    • Send a 6th grade class to Camp Thunderbird for a day: $3,400

    • Send an 8th grade class to Camp Thunderbird for the night: $5,500

    • Pay for a bus ride to and from camp: $550

    • Send a kid to summer camp for a week: $1,200

    • Send a kid to summer camp for a month: $4,200

  • Camp Dad

Three children, ages 4, 8, and 11, suddenly lose their mother to a heart attack. The cost of a funeral for Mom leaves bills unpaid, requiring the family to move neighborhoods, likely dividing up the children and forcing a school change. Help pay the cost of Mom’s funeral so the siblings can continue to live in their apartment with Dad, surrounded by neighbors and a strong community of teachers and support at school.

    • Funeral for Mom to help Camp Dad: $8,950

  • US National Whitewater Center

Teamwork is for everyone, and there’s no better place to build it than climbing rock walls, navigating a ropes course, and zip-lining with peers at The US National White-Water Center.

    • A day of team development for teachers: $5,500

    • Send a student to a week of camp: $300

    • Give Middle-Schoolers a day to build confidence: $6,000

“At Camp Thunderbird, I learned how to hide eggs from coyotes, test the pH of the lake and how to care for water if I own a piece of lake one day. Thank you!”

Adventurous camp environments give birth to leaders, igniting life-changing ideas that make the world a better place. At camp, kids identify their gifts, learn to fail, heal wounds, and live fearless.

CAMP = perseverance, trust, courage… awe, wonder, and growth.

  • Help Jane’s Fund send kids to camp where they can create, compete, and grow into the best version of themselves.

“I couldn’t have imagined a more impactful day for our students.”
