You Have to See it to Achieve It

We love sharing good news—and this week, it came straight from the heart of MLK Jr. Middle School where your support made a positive difference.

Please see Principal Jessica’s note below:

“Hi Jane’s Fund,

I hope you are doing well, and it would not surprise me if your ears have been ringing because I have been talking about Jane’s Fund for quite a bit! We had some strong results this year in improving proficiency and our school culture and Jane’s Fund played a significant role. I cannot express how grateful I am for your support this school year. You gave our kids experiences that they will never forget.”

MLK Jr. Middle School

This isn’t just a thank you; it’s a reminder that your generosity is making a profound impact in the lives of students who attend under-resourced CMS schools: Jane's Fund helps create a positive school culture so scholars want to attend school. This not only increases attendance but also builds confidence and character.

Just one year ago, Jane’s Fund collaborated with Principal Dwight Thompson at Renaissance West Steam Academy to take their first out-of-state, overnight trip since the school opened in 2017. After experiencing Washington, D.C. for the first time, 8th graders returned home energized, empowered, and performing higher in the classroom.

This school year, Jane’s Fund sponsored over 33 field trips for thousands of CMS scholars.

Next year, we need your help to double the impact!

More educational experiences. More kids. More life-changing moments.
