Jane’s Fund is on a mission to provide opportunity and access to students attending under-resourced schools and give hope through financial assistance to families with a child dying of cancer.

When opportunity called, Jane's Fund raised our hands to sponsor West Charlotte female competitors to travel to Myrtle Beach to compete for the first time on an elite stage.

Because of you, more families will be supported in their hardest moments. Because of you, more students will be seen, encouraged, and given opportunities they never thought possible.

Last week, because of your generosity, 83 students from Ranson Middle School stepped into something bigger than their everyday environment.

At Jane’s Fund, we believe miracles don’t always arrive in grand moments. Sometimes, they are built one swing, one laugh, and one friendship at a time.

On March 5, community came together to celebrate three years of Jane's Fund, and it was a true miracle to experience the power of strangers laughing and crying together in one space.

This school year, Jane’s Fund proudly teamed up with Berryhill School to launch an exciting attendance initiative to help students get to school every day.

As Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. reminded us, “The time is always right to do what’s right.” When a community comes together to do what’s right, the results are powerful.

Schools cannot operate without teachers, custodians, coaches, and administrators. These unsung heroes are rarely acknowledged in a tangible way, simply because of the population they serve.

“Called” to prepare middle schoolers for high school, Principal Tracey Pickard is on a mission: Ignite Excellence and lift Ranson Middle School from an F to a C within three years.

Many students at Garinger High School are struggling — some don’t have basic clothing items, and others miss meals when they’re not in school.

Today, students GO ON THE ROAD AGAIN, launching the start of dozens of field trips planned this year, both day and overnight, grades K–12.

It takes courage to try new things, and Charlotte Lacrosse and Motivational Leadership Coach Kristy Boyles is the heart and brain behind Jane’s Fund’s Lacrosse Camps. 

In just five months, Coach Jupiter Wilson has become much more than a football coach. He felt called to be the sixth head coach since September 2017—the last time Garinger won a football game.

In light of recent events, we felt moved to share something different—something we hope might offer comfort or strength to even one camp parent navigating uncertainty.
