Jane’s Fund is thrilled to announce Emily Battle as our new Executive Director! Emily has built a career defined by leadership, vision, and the ability to tackle complex challenges with clarity and heart.

For some students, the first day of school is the best day—new outfits, book bags full of supplies, and stories of magical summer vacations. For others, it can feel like the worst day.

It takes courage to try new things, and Charlotte Lacrosse and Motivational Leadership Coach Kristy Boyles is the heart and brain behind Jane’s Fund’s Lacrosse Camps. 

In just five months, Coach Jupiter Wilson has become much more than a football coach. He felt called to be the sixth head coach since September 2017—the last time Garinger won a football game.

In light of recent events, we felt moved to share something different—something we hope might offer comfort or strength to even one camp parent navigating uncertainty.

We love sharing good news—and this week, it came straight from the heart of MLK Jr. Middle School where your support made a positive difference. 

Lexie is graduating high school a year early. One thing she was certain about? She didn't have a computer to take to college with her—until she was surprised with one.

Sketching, painting, strumming, singing… Who doesn’t need moments in their week to let their imagination run wild?

Imagine never having seen the ocean but walking into the Georgia Aquarium to see a whale, sea lions, penguins, dolphins, and sharks...

Jane’s Fund started summer and after school lacrosse clinics through GEP in the summer of 2023. What began for 4th and 5th graders at Merry Oakes has now expanded into 5 schools within GEP.

At Jane’s Fund, we are not only honored to support children in our community — we are continually humbled and inspired by the incredible ways children show up to support us, too. 

It's a gift to feel hope, love, and courage to keep going when life gets hard. Jane's Fund has the gift of seeing community heroes give indescribable LOVE to kids in under-resourced CMS schools.

We've learned if we can ease basic financial burdens and help create a school environment where attendance, academic success, and good behavior is rewarded, students show up and teachers get fired up.

One of the infinite gifts of building relationships with community heroes at Jane's Fund is the wisdom and life lessons we learn from people like Principal Tracey Pickard at Ranson Middle School.

When we were informed this week that there's an empty space at a school that doesn't have a playground, Jane's Fund jumped for joy. 

West Charlotte High School rang in 2025 with a Football State Championship and a marching band in the running for 1st place in North Carolina…and Jane’s Fund is celebrating January like never before. 

How often do you meet someone who refuses to give up and their courageous attitude to "GO FOR IT" leaves you in wonder and awe?

At Jane's Fund, we lead children to the light by connecting with school educators like Davina who share the unmet needs and dreams of their students: an entire class, grade, or even the whole school.

Meet Jazzie, an inspiring alumnus of West Charlotte High School and first-generation college student attending Queens University where she's double majoring in Psychology and Philosophy & Religion.
