Let’s Solve the Problem

The Problem: Many students at Garinger High School are struggling — some don’t have basic clothing items, and others miss meals when they’re not in school. CMS has 6000+ homeless students, a number on the rise and the highest in the state.

The Solution: Garinger alum and community hero Charles saw the need and took action. He began filling an extra trailer on campus with food, becoming a trusted mentor and lifeline for students who know they can count on him. Charles joins new leaders at Garinger High who are committed to make positive changes and outcomes at "The G:" Principal Shannon Clemons, Senior Class President, Sydney, and Coach Jupiter Wilson.

The Next Challenge: As the cold weather arrives, Charles needs more supplies to meet the growing demand.

The Second Solution: Sergeant Sparkle and her sheriff’s team are partnering with Charles to fill a second trailer with coats, pants, shoes, hygiene items, and essentials that will help students not just survive but thrive at school.

What Now?

Donation items like torn clothes or half-empty shampoo bottles won't solve the problem, so Jane’s Fund is acting fast to provide the essential needs.

We’re asking YOU to be the Miracle on Monday by helping Jane’s Fund provide students with quality essentials, solving a critical problem.

Thank you for being a miracle today. By collaborating with community leaders like Charles, Sergeant Sparkles, Sydney, and Principal Clemons, together we can ensure every Garinger student has what they need to graduate and succeed in life. Jane’s Fund believes your help in solving this problem may be the answer to similar problems in other under-resourced CMS schools.
